AI Play closed the game with authority, pulling away in the final quarter to secure a 75–61 victory over GOM at Elevate Sports Performance on Saturday evening. The contest remained competitive for most of the night, but a dominant fourth-quarter performance ultimately tilted the balance in AI Play’s favor.
The opening period set the tone for a tightly contested matchup. Both sides traded baskets and defensive stops, with AI Play edging ahead 13–11 by the end of the first quarter. GOM responded in the second, showing improved offensive rhythm and putting together a 15-point quarter. However, AI Play matched their intensity, pouring in 21 points to take a narrow but important lead into halftime.
Coming out of the break, GOM delivered one of their best stretches of the game. They controlled the third quarter with strong interior scoring and defensive pressure, outscoring AI Play 20–14 to cut into the deficit and keep the outcome within reach heading into the final period.

Decisive fourth-quarter run
The decisive moment arrived in the fourth quarter. AI Play elevated their pace and execution on both ends of the floor, producing a commanding 27-point burst. Their defensive stops translated into fast-break opportunities, while their outside shooting began to fall at crucial moments. Yasier Rashid Ahmad led all scorers with an impressive 25-point performance, adding 4 assists and 5 rebounds to guide AI Play’s offense.
